How we use AI

What AI does for us

• Organises the information you give us, so our team has your application in one place.
• Suggests which lenders may fit your business. A person checks every suggestion.
• Prepares reminders, such as documents still needed, from wording we have approved.

What a person always does

• Reviews every application and calls you, normally within one working day.
• Decides how we help with your enquiry. AI never makes lending decisions: lenders decide whether to offer finance and on what terms.
• Answers you whenever you ask for a person, by replying to our email or a text, or through our contact form.

Emails, texts and your choices

When you apply, we email you an “application received” message with your reference. After that, our team emails you about your application, for example to book a call or to list the documents a lender needs. Our emails are only about your enquiry. Reply to any of them to reach a person.

We text you only if you tick the text message box on the application form; it starts unticked. Texts come from WeFund Business through our SMS provider: an “application received” text, updates and reminders from our team, and automatic reminders using approved wording. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts at any time.
